Juices and smoothies are such a delicious way to add more fruits and veggies to your diet. Improve digestion, increase intake of vitamins and minerals, support your immune system, and decrease inflammation.
Green Lemonade
Make It At Home (using a juicer):
2-3 cups of greens (dandelion, chard, spinach, beet greens, or kale)
1 Lemon
2 Apples
A thumbnail size of Ginger and Turmeric
*Experiment with quantities to make it to your taste. If you like it even sweeter, pineapple makes a great addition to sweeten it up.
Peaches & Greens Smoothie
Make It At Home (using a blender):
1 cup of greens (dandelion, chard, spinach, beet greens, or kale)
2 cups peaches (cut into small pieces and freeze in advance for best results)
1 cup of oat milk
A thumbnail size of Ginger and Turmeric
These are just a couple of my favorite examples, but make it your own! The formula is really simple: choose your greens, choose a fruit (local and in season if possible), add in Ginger and Turmeric or an anti-inflammatory boost of your choice....that's all!
